Luke Hurst is a Tasmanian poet and multidisciplinary artist. His debut manuscript Allagorious is forthcoming in 2026; he is a featured touring poet for the 2026 Tasmanian Poetry Festival and has had work recorded and presented by Contemporary Art Tasmania.
FULL BIO
Luke Hurst is a Tasmanian poet and multidisciplinary artist whose work spans poetry, drag, cabaret, multimedia performance, film, and gallery practice. His work explores queer identity, emotional vulnerability, and contemporary life through allegorical and object-based poetry. His debut manuscript Allegorious is forthcoming in 2026. He is creator of Scream and Shout Poetry, a live poetry event integrating projections and soundscapes, and founder of LLDC Entertainment. Previously known as Leelyn Cruddas and Luke Cruddas.
